Colton Avera '22 Recruiting Profile

As a student-athlete, I am searching for a college known for its academic program as well as a stellar baseball program.  While  living out a childhood dream of playing collegiate baseball, I would also pursue my academic goals in the biology field. My character, academics, and athleticism would make me a good candidate for a team.  As a Christian, I believe it keeps me grounded about important choices in my life in dealing with good or bad situations.  I have a great work ethic not only on the field, but also in the classroom. I have maintained a 3.8 GPA while dual enrolling my junior year.  As a baseball player, I have been blessed with great size and superb hand-eye coordination. While at the plate,  this allows me to display power while also hitting for average.  In the field, it increases my range and provides for soft hands. These attributes will make me a good candidate for a team.
