I have always wanted to be a professional baseball player. I have been playing since I was five. I know it will take a lot of hard work to get there but if I am unable to make it I would like to try to stay in the sporting field. I would like to be a personal trainer, either at a professional level or just to work with everyday people. I like working out and staying in shape. I will be participating in the Health Sciences Academy at my High School. I will also be taking classes in sports medicine and health and fitness. Throughout middle school I maintained a 3.5 GPA or higher in Honors classes.
I just finished my Freshman year at Seminole H.S. My GPA for the year was 3.57. I want increase that GPA next year. I played Baseball in the spring on Varsity and received my letter at the banquet. I am currently playing summer ball with the Florida Collegiate League on the 15u High School Team. I am only pitching right now as I am recovering from a knee injury. At the last showcase we played in for Prospect Wire my fastball topped out at 80. I am continuing to grow and get stronger. I work out with my coaches at TRX training four days a week and then we go to the school for hitting and throwing workouts.
I have now completed my Sophomore year of High School. I had a successful Fall/Spring seasons of Baseball. I was one of (3) three Sophomore pitchers that lead our Varsity team. Since we only played (2) two games a week I was primarily used out of the bullpen to either stop any big innings from happening or to ensure a win in a closer's role. I only pitched again this year but have recently been given the all clear to start hitting and fielding. I will be playing 3rd Base for our team when I'm not pitching. At the Baseball Banquet this year I was given the "Fireman's" Award for my service out of the pen. I continued to do well in my Honors classes where my GPA was 3.43. I will work hard again next year to hopefully raise my GPA above a 3.50. Looking forward to Junior year!!
