Caleb Cheyney '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Caleb Cheyney and I am a RHP with dominant breaking pitches and a 2 seam fastball with movement. I play in the Spring for my High School Team, Glenbrook North, and CC Baseball in the summer as a starting pitcher with an ERA below 2 and a 4:1 strikeout to walk ratio. I am a 3.5 GPA National Honor Society student with an interest in pursuing Business and/or Education as an academic major in college.

My baseball goal is to meaningfully contribute to a college program through a tireless work ethic, results on the field, delivering leadership by example, and furthering the program as a whole by being a great teammate and positive reflection of the program on and off the field. As a player, I am motivated by continual and consistent improvements as a result of dedication, hard work, and passion for all aspects of the game of baseball. Throughout my playing career, I have often been chosen by coaches to be a team captain as result of my work ethic and desire to make every player on the team better individually and as a unit.
