Personal Statement

I started playing baseball when I was 6 years old and I simply love the game. My two main focuses in life are baseball and academics. My main position is a starting pitcher as I like to control the game. I am mentally strong and I thrive in stressful situations both on the mound and in my personal life. 

For me the team success comes first, before my personal gain. As a player, I am committed to play fair, to always put my best effort, to stay focused on the game and to behave in a respectful way. As a person, I am committed to be open-minded and respectful. As a student, I am committed to work hard and to try to reach my full potential.
