Being a sophomore in high school hasn't exposed me to many opportunities in what it is like at a college level. But with last years loss in the state tourney it really has motivated me to step up and grow not only as a baseball player but to grow more mature and take more responsibility. I have loved the game of baseball ever since I was four years old. But with many ups and downs through all the years I have gained many new abilities and pushed myself to the best I could be. Many of the hardships I have gone through have been winning various showcase tournaments around Kansas. Each and every one has most definitely been a learning experience and I look forward to competing in many this upcoming year. Academically I have always been one of the top in my class of 2022 as I try and strive for the National Honors Society Award. This is awarded to high school students with a cumulative GPA of 3.5-4.0, a SAT score of 1280 or higher, a 26 or higher in the ACT and be in the top 10% of your class. Now with all these things to look forward to in the next 3 years I can see myself accepting each and every challenge given to me and complete it to my best ability.
