Baseball is, and always has been, a huge part of my life. Since the age of four, I have played in many different leagues, providing me with various challenges and experiences to learn and grow from over the years. I believe the qualities and skills I have gained from playing on these teams would make me a strong asset for your program. My baseball career began with Little League and quickly grew to something more, as I sought out travel teams and took advantage of every opportunity possible to challenge myself and grow as a player. I was thirteen years old when I joined my first travel team, where I distinguished myself among fourteen and fifteen year old athletes; I started out batting sixth in the line up, and ended the season as the lead off batter. I value and respect the advice my coaches have given me over the years, always looking to improve my skills and take their instructions to the heart.  My hard work and dedication has paid off during my school baseball career thus far; I have had the honor of being elected as team Captain every year by my coaches and teammates. I take great pride and responsibility being my team captain, and work hard to lead by example for my teammates. On and off the field I am very personable, and have always had great relationships with my coaches, teammates and peers. I make sure this positive attitude is demonstrated on the field, never resorting to arguing with calls that I may not agree with. I am taking my future seriously, and am open to schools with good academics where I can pursue a major in Business while continuing my baseball career. My goal is to start as a freshman, challenging myself every day and playing with the highest level of competition possible to grow as a player and have a positive impact on the team.
