My name is Chace Chaplin. My goal is to play Division 1 baseball and ultimately play at the highest level of baseball possible. As a student-athlete, I hold myself to the highest standards on and off the baseball field. I am hardworking and determined to be successful as a teammate, student, and an athlete.  I am willing to take in as much knowledge as possible through as many different platforms of learning as I can. I have been provided with the opportunity through my baseball experience to play all 9 positions and fully exceeded the expectations of those roles. My exposure to the travel baseball environment has shaped me into the player I am today, and I am constantly learning more as the seasons go on. In addition to the passion I have for the game of baseball, playing at the college level will teach me many lessons. These include the ability to enhance my goals and work with differing personalities, as well as learn from the obstacles of failure and the moments of success. Through the years I have developed a good physical presence in the lineups for multiple national level teams. I have established myself as one of the best statistical hitters in the southeast with many accolades to prove it. I pride myself in my baseball IQ and my ability to anticipate the pitch along with the defensive play in the field. I have consistently demonstrated my ability to prosper in high pressure situations. I am willing to take on any necessary role that will contribute to the success of the team. I desire to play for a coach/program that brings out the best of their players on and off the field through honesty and support. In return I will provide you with the best version of myself, as well as continuous dedication to the game.
