Some of my earliest memories as a child are hitting Wiffle balls daily with my dad in the backyard when I was just a couple of years old. I've been playing my entire life and just can't seem to get enough! When I was in T-ball I was put in a cast from my waist down and even at that young age I didn't let it stop me! I went to every game and became the bat boy for the rest of the year and even figured out how to balance enough to hit balls in the backyard. I love baseball that much! As I've grown older I still have that same love and passion for the sport as I did back then! Even still, I have learned that loving the game isn't enough. Because I've never been the biggest guy on the field, I have had to play HARDER and SMARTER than most. I've learned that I have to believe in Myself in order for others to do the same. My favorite saying is "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog!"
I've always taken great pride in my academics, so I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I not only believe I can play baseball at the next level, but I believe I will be an asset to any team. I play my heart out each time I step on that field and encourage my teammates to do the same. I live for this game!
