Being on the Allen varsity baseball team during playoffs my sophomore year was a big influence on me. It showed me the playoff atmosphere and how exciting and fun it can be. My Junior year I moved to Community High School due to my dads job as a pastor. With this move came greater responsibility as I went from playing in the largest division 6 school in Texas to a division 4 school. This motivated me to work harder and get better as a player and in the classroom.
In my first year here in Community I was voted as a team captain by my fellow teammates. I knew I would have to step up as a player and a man. Our first year as a team here together was fun. We made playoffs and had a good run. I am looking for a program where I can fit in and compete at a high level. I have heard of the amount of work it takes to compete at the next level and I am willing to put in whatever work need to make it there.
I love the game of baseball. My passion is catching because it gives me the ability to see the whole field and manage the game. I am flexible though for I can play outfield and I am above average base runner. I have been blessed to be under some good coaches in the last four years and I am excited to learn much more as I enter college.
