Alex Honeyman '22 Recruiting Profile

Academics have always been first priority, but my dream is to play baseball at the college level. Growing up, I always played with kids older than me, so being put on varsity my freshman year was not a surprise but I had to show my teammates that I could compete. I learned how to use my skillset to get the job done (location and movement), and set myself apart from most high school pitchers. In both school and summer, I am the guy you can rely on in tough situations, both on and off the field, and I will continue to do so playing at the next level. I have and never will be the player you have to worry about in the classroom, as I have made academic all district the last 3 years. I also work with the special education program and volunteer club at my school, where I believe I've learned a lot of work ethic and self motivation traits. 

Playing at the next level, I will always be the player you can trust, and the player that will compete in every situation. I have a sharp 4 pitch mix and a bulldog mentality on the mound.
