Velvet Sterowski-Heck '23 Recruiting Profile

I started playing field hockey in 7th grade and have developed a love and passion for it ever since.

I'm a starting Varsity player and am typically placed in center back position but am frequently moved up to forward inner and have scored when playing there as well. I'm extremely hardworking and put my all into every game and practice, making First Team and Second Team for backs tow years in a row in the conference. Keeping up the hardwork, I take all AP and Honors classes, maintaining straight A's. Both on and off the field my teammates usually come to me for help  for help with the game or even with just day-to-day life. I'm super determined to accomplish my goals, two of them being playing collegiate field hockey and earning a degree.
