David Vasquez '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is David Vasquez and I am a Senior that has played tackle football since I was eight years old. My senior year i was recognized as a First team metro South Bay MLB, CIF Second team MLB, and South Bay Defensive player of the year. I was also the Defensive MVP for my team my senior year. My experience and love for this game has increased my determination to improve my overall skills and strength by focusing on the linebacker position and being a leader for my team. My goal is to improve my agility, speed, and strength in order to become a collegiate student athlete competing at the division one level. I understand the steps and training that's necessary to complete this long-term dream of mine, and I'm determined to be consistent by working hard and persevering through any trials that lay in my path. I aspire to not only play at this level, but also plan to excel at it by focusing on the physical aspects of the game, in addition to academic excellence as well. I am committed to having a stronger body through investing time in the gym, concentrating on my grades, and deeply appreciate the opportunity, experience, talent, and love for the game that God has given me. I know my goal, and will succeed in the challenge of reaching it through my persistence and passion.
