Joshua Callaway '21 Recruiting Profile

Overall, I am a personable, well-rounded, and outgoing young athlete, included with a great sense of humor. Since I have been playing football for 10 years, I have had experience at almost every position on the field. I am an especially resilient and quick learner. This was demonstrated the summer of Sophomore-Junior year, when I learned the entire Honors Pre-Calculus annual curriculum in 9 weeks. During those nine weeks, I still had obligations to two a day varsity football practices, friends, and family. Nevertheless, at the beginning of Junior year, I was admitted into AP Calculus AB and had earned starting positions on both offense and defense.

My interests include Sciences,  Mathematics, Medicine, and Engineering. I am trying to earn my way into a university that stresses academic importance, cherishes a strong athletic program, and invests in their students talents. Because I take my academics, athletics, and my faith seriously, I wish to surround myself in a community with like minded people.
