Will Halkyard '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Will Halkyard and I am a nationally ranked 4.5 star long snapper with Rubio Long Snapping in the class of 2020 at Glenbard West High School in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. My recent achievements include earning a TOP 12 invite from Rubio Long Snapping and earning a starting spot on our varsity football team as a Junior.

My collegiate goal is to attend a school that has extremely high academic standards, since I believe that strong classroom performance will benefit me the most after college.   I am also looking for a competitive football program where I can contribute as an impact player on special teams.

My athletic goals for 2019 is to continue adding size and strength while increasing my overall speed and agility.  Academically, I am challenging myself to keep a perfect GPA, while I take more AP and honors classes this school year. 

In addition to football, I take a lot of pride in mentoring a group of 7th grade boys at my local church and playing basketball and lacrosse for Glenbard West High School.
