Hello, my name is Matt Ferrero and I'm a football player at Richmond Burton Community High School. During my years as a young football player I learned the game at middle linebacker up until I came into my first year of high school where I had to learn the new position of being an offensive lineman. After my freshman year leading into sophmore year I realized that not only would I need to learn the position, but that I can be a force at the position. I realize that being a 5'10 offensive lineman makes it a challenge, but that's alright, I like that challenge. My goal is to be the best high school football player in the state and to help my team win an IHSA State Championship. Not only to do that, but to go to college and play college football that would be a dream come true.
The amount of work that I put in day after day and then to go the play in college then I would finally see all the hard work finally pay off in the long run. I also want to go to college to get a degree and end up to be successful in life. I want to just look back on my football playing days and know that I was the best at that time. And that I could never be beaten and that I left a mark! If I could carry that into college that would be amazing then I would know that I would assure to leave an even bigger mark with a couple national championships! All in all I want to be the best football player I can be!
As well as being an offensive lineman playing the center and guard position I play as a linebacker on the defensive side of the ball! As I've said before its my dream and ambition to play college football. I feel that I'm ready for the oppurtunity and that I'm ready to capitalize on it.
Thank You,
OL, Matt Ferrero.
