I began my football career in the 6th grade at Northwestern Elementary. I knew I loved playing football and decided early on to set a goal of playing for the varsity team all four years of high school. Through hard work and dedication, I was able to earn a varsity letter as a freshman. After completing my first year as a varsity player, my dream is to continue to work even harder and earn a position at the college level. I love the game of football and I will never give up the dream of playing for a college team. As a student athlete, I recognize the importance of my education. I’ve maintained excellent grades and continue to make the honor roll each semester. I’ve learned the importance of balance on and off the field and will continue to strive for excellence in both areas. Playing in college will enable me to continue playing a game I love and enable me to grow as a student athlete and compete at highest levels of my ability. I understand the importance of the bond between teammates and coaches and look forward to lifelong friendships with other student athletes who appreciate the demands and level of hard work required for success on the field. I am always willing to put in hard work on and off the field. I am a versatile student athlete who can play multiple positions, but kicking has always had a place in my heart.
