Dear Football Coach,
Before introducing myself I want to thank you for reading my personal statement and considering me for your college team.
My name is Vincent and I was born in Germany. At the age of 16, I came to the United States to get a better education, to grow personally, and play sports professionally. Many people say I’m focused on my goals. For example, I want to get better in athletics, I train harder and more than the regular schedule. I take my education just as seriously as my athletics and put in the extra time to get good grades. I’m open minded to learning about new things and different opinions. This helps me to get along with most people and helps me introduce myself fast to new groups of people.
The biggest difference to other Kicker/Punters my age is my past. I played almost 11 years of soccer in Europe and that means I have a pretty accurate kick and leg strength.
