Randy Fischer
I led my JV team in tackles my freshman year and was moved up to Varsity for the playoffs. As a starter, I led the Varsity team in tackles in my Sophomore year with 97.5. I was awarded the Unsung Hero Award given by my team and was voted Second Team All County by the coaches in Anne Arundel County. In my Junior season, I led the Varsity team in tackles with 95 (9 games). I was voted Defensive MVP and was also voted First Team All County. My coach said in his 14 years of coaching high school football, I was the first Junior to receive the Defensive MVP award.
Senior Year
I have been chosen for the 2013-2014 Super 22 team by The Maryland Touchdown Club.
My Coach has selected me as team captain for my Senior year.
I have been working out hard bulking up for my Senior season. I am a team leader that can cover sideline to sideline. I bring the same intensity to the practice field as to the games and I have a strong work ethic (practice, weight training, etc.).
I am not too concerned about the geographical location of where I would go to school, but it would be nice to stay on the East Coast to be closer to home and for family to attend games. I am open to schools of any size, and would like to go to a school with a good academic reputation. Getting a good a education is VERY important to me. I am undecided on what I would like to study.
I would love to play day one, and I know I could compete at any level of competition, be it D-1, D-1 AA, or D-2 level. My goal is to play at a competitive college, be an impact player, and earn a college degree.
