AJ Westrude '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Anthony Westrude and I am from Lakeville, Minnesota.  I will be a 2014 graduate from Lakeville South High School (6A) South Suburban Conference. As a Three year varsity player, my primary position as a starting junior currently is being a valuable athlete on my team and being utilized where my coaches see fit to help gain a win for our varsity team!  The positions that I’m currently filling for my team are as follows;  linebacker, special sets for running back, special teams and special sets for receiver. 

 I have been training and eating right with a personal Physiologist Integrating the Power Plate Vibration Machine for years and I know I can compete at any level and understand the commitment it takes to be successful and wherever I play I will be ready to Work on Day#1.

My perseverance allows me the ability to be a consistent leader, motivator and a team player on and off the field.  I am 6’1 and I weigh 216 pounds , I have been told I have great intangibles: closing speed, arm length ,aggresiveness and speed to size ratio. Prior to starting our season; I attended several  football camps which was an amazing experience that strengthened my athletic ability and motivated me to new heights!
