US National Football Team Development Games

An awesome experience getting to represent the USA in the development games. The goal is to earn a roster spot on the US National Team and play in the International Bowl in January in AT&T Stadium against Canada. However, even if I am not selected, I am extremely proud of how I performed at the games. The highlight was definitely being selected by my coaches & teammates to be the flag bearer for our team. This is one of the highest honors that can be given to an athlete at the games. It is usually given to the athlete the coaches and players feel exemplifies great leadership. I was so honored to be selected to run the flag out on the field before our game. Unfortunately, we came up just short in the game, losing by a touchdown, but I was very pleased with my performance, especially my first series in at quarterback where I went 8 of 10 for 59 yards and a touchdown.

National Football Academies (NFA) R4 Systems Concept Passing Camp

The R4 Passing Clinic is designed to install, apply, and use techniques of the revolutionary R4 System into your passing offense. R4 stands for Rhythm, Read, Rush, Release. The camp focuses on the field drills that will maximize the execution of the top 15 passing concepts used in football today. This camp is primarily for high school and college quarterback and receivers. There are numerous competitions that are utilized for athletes to demonstrate their knowledge, ability, and accuracy of the concepts taught during camp. I won many of the competitions, even beating out juniors and seniors in high school.

TOP GUN athletes are given the unique opportunity to practice the techniques and skills they have been taught against athletes who are as big, as strong, as fast, and as gifted as they are. They also are blessed with the chance to impress the best group of NFL faculty ever assembled at one camp. The almost 80 members of the coaching staff have over 700 years of combined NFL coaching and playing experience! These coaches share their immense knowledge of the game to the athletes through on-field drills as well as detailed classroom film breakdowns. I was one of the few 5th graders who were invited to attend Top Gun this year!

This is a competition camp where athletes come to showcase their skills competing against other elite athletes in their age group from all over the country and internationally. The Duel is a 2-day event that features both an intense development phase and an invite-only position specific skills competition. I made it the final four and ended up placing second overall in my age group.
