NLI signed with NC State, Spring 2023 enrollee
As a senior, I am the lead Captain of Christ School football team. This is my fouth year on varsity. I am 6'1” and 190 pound athletic playmaker. My quickness and size make me a do-it-all guy. The team trusts me to cover the best receiver on defense and consistently make plays when the ball comes my way on offense.
I am the NCISSA state champion in the High Jump with a jump on 6'6" to earn the title in May of 2022. My coordination, body awareness, and ability to get air make me an excellent receiver and DB. I have also applied my quickness and agility as a starting guard varsity basketball beginning in my freshman year.
Academically, I have earned a 3.38 GPA and take honors English classes, enjoy choir, and am known as a leader among my peers.
I attend Christ School, a rigorous college prep high school with the best sports program in the state. One thing I love about Christ School is that is gives me the opportunity for athletic challenge, but also allows me to be more than just an athlete. I can take Honors classes, enjoy discussing ideas in English class, and participated in Choir. As a boarding student, I live on campus where I have learned to be independent, make relationships with people who are very different than me, and meet the high expectations of integrity and ethics the school requires. My teachers consider me the leader of the class of 2024 at Christ School. I have been selected to speak to alumni and board members about my experience and to speak on behalf of the class to graduates.
For my college experience, I am looking for a place that will allow me to compete at the highest level possible. I want to join a team where I can contribute to team success and also work on constantly improving my own individual performance. Strong relationships with teammates is important to me as is relationships with coaches who know me as an individual.
