My name is Dominic Rivera and I am a 6'8 315 lb offensive tackle for the class of 2023. I started on the varsity football team as a sophomore during the peak of Covid. Covid helped me get a real passion for football with all of the rules and regulations set. It appeared to some that there were many people who didn't think we should move forward with the season under the circumstances, but through all of that we continued our season and made the playoffs. That experience helped me a lot in my junior year. I went from being just some big kid on the line to 1st team All-Conference, 1st team All-District, and 3rd team All-State and making it to the third round of playoffs! My school uses a wing T triple option offense so I had to get used to not being able to pass set much. I consider myself an extremely hard worker because year round I am training for O-line agility and O-line skills to be able to compete at next level camps and combines. My commitment to getting better will help on and off the field because of my commitment to practice, games, and school.
