Joseph D'Emilio '15 Recruiting Profile

Coach, 

My name is Joseph D'Emilio and I play football for Saints Neumann & Goretti High School in Philadelphia.  We are currently PIAA District 12 AA Champions.

I am 6'5" tall and currently weigh 290lbs.  I have been a 4 year starter, initially at defensive tackle as a freshman.  In my sophomore year I started playing offensive right tackle.  As an offensive lineman I was recognized as a 2nd team All Catholic player in both my sophomore and junior years.  I continued to play defensive line in short yardage and goal line situations.  

As a senior this year I earned first team All Catholic and served as a team captain.  In addition to playing on the offensive line, I was also a defensive starter at nose tackle.  In addition to playing football, I have also been a member of the track and field team.  In the classroom, I have a GPA of 3.5  My SAT score is 1260.  I have perfect attendance throughout high school.

My conditioning, 4-year experience and overall work ethic would be a perfect fit for your program.  I am a fast learner and I have the ability to correct myself in real-time to any situation on the field.  I have worked every day to help my team achieve the goals we set forth for this season.  We are Catholic League and city champions for 2014-15, our school's first football championships in 60 years.  

Each off season I've worked harder and pushed myself to get bigger and stronger, improving my technique, speed and agility.  As a team at Neumann Goretti, we worked hard to bring all of our goals to fruition.  I have always done my best and am looking forward to continue playing football at the next level.  I will continue that commitment if I am fortunate enough to be a part of your team.
