Tyler Armstead '24 Recruiting Profile

My favorite quote is “I never lose.  I either win, or I learn” -Nelson Mandela.  This is how I see things on and off the field.  I work hard everyday to win.  If I hear a ‘no’, hit a roadblock, or lose a battle, I use it to become stronger.  

When I was a freshman and sophomore, I was told I was too small to get on the field.  I used that as motivation to get better, faster, stronger.  Junior year I became a starter and letterman, and my senior year I will explode as a returning starter.  I gained 48 pounds since freshman year and grew 7 inches.  My focus has been to be the best player and teammate I can be, so I can contribute to my team, win games, and championships.

My goal is to go to a college where I can push myself in the classroom and play collegiate football on a high level.  I’m open to any school,  team, and position option that will give me a chance to contribute my winning spirit to their program.
