My name is Chase Somers. I am a Freshman at the Huntingdon Area High School in Pennsylvania.
I was given the opportunity to move up to High School Football a year early this past season and earned a Varsity Letter as a full time starter. I won the varsity starting spots for Offensive Tackle and Defensive End before the first game. Later in the year I moved to the starting Nose Guard and I ended the season as the team sack leader. We had a pretty rough season that was shortened because of Covid, but I am thankful for the experience I gained in those (8) games. I recently won the Grid Iron Elite Award at the Sports International Camp I attended in Pittsburgh PA.
I have been working with a personal trainer for the past (4) years for strength and conditioning. He is also the gym owner and my pastor. I work as hard on the off season as I do during the season, because I know at my age I need to be the best I can for my Team and Coaches.
My Current GPA is a 3.2. I want to play at the next level and I know that starts now with my grades as well as my development as a football player.
