Jay Roberds '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a student athlete that wants to play at the next level and get my degree. I’m a hard worker, can take and understand coaching while striving to be the best. I would be a great addition to any team, I bring great energy to the locker room, field, and class room. I can use my ability to play anywhere I’m needed. I would love to spend the next 4 years after I graduate playing the game I love and learning about the career path I will take when I can no longer lace up my cleats. Football was my first love ever sense I could walk and watch the game, even when I didn’t understand I wanted to do everything I watched on tv and in movies. I’ve played football sense 2nd grade and haven’t turned back I’ve played both sides of the ball and love it all. The grind, the pain, the wins and loses, the brotherhood everything. I’ve also learned to love school because with school and sports it can take me all over the country. Getting my degree would be such a big accomplishment and learning the ropes to the career that will help me stay in the path I want which is sports so I can do what I love while helping the next generation. I want to take my talent’s and love for the game to college that loves passion and family, while doing school and writing my own story.
