Divon Woods '23 Recruiting Profile

My goals are to find a college that fits me and continue to chase my academic goals and athletic goals. I'm striving to be huge asset, a college or university, which fits my academic, athletic, and social needs.  The ideal School, to attend, will provide a welcoming environment, where I'll be able to grow and flourish as the best college student-athlete I'm destined to be.  My tremendous faith in God, strong work ethic, eagerness to succeed, and unyielding quest to be my personal best, are traits that will provide reassurance, to any school of interest, that they've made a great decision of giving me the opportunity to be a part of their football program.  Although, my athletic accomplishments and performance on the field, speak for themselves.  As a member of the National Honor Society, I take tremendous pride in working just as hard, of the field, to achieve academic excellence.  Thankfully, during my moms' difficult medical journey, I had a strong family and community support system.  Overcoming those uncertainties and stressful situations have enabled me to be able to dig deep and find my inner strength and push through when times get rough.   My goal is to earn my degree in a welcoming, comfortable environment that will allow me to thrive both academically, socially, and athletically.  Ultimately, I know the next few years will be key in determining the man that I will become, post college graduation, and I'm looking forward to making the absolute best of them!
