Personal Statement

I've been focused on reaching my goals for years.  My goal is to play football on the D1 level and earn a degree in business.   Playing football in college has been a dream since I was able to walk.  I'm committed to do well in school and on the field to keep focused on reaching my goal to do both at the next level.   I also want to continue throwing shot put and discus with the track team at that school.  I've qualified and thrown in the AAU Junior Olympics in both events the last five years and love the competition.

I started playing football when I was six with flag and loved it.  I've played in a select club level team traveling Texas since I was seven and with my middle school team where we won the division and title in my seventh and eighth grade seasons.  I enjoyed learning from coaches who've played in high school, college and the pros and always work to learn from what they teach me.  I had a strong Freshman season on Varsity at  Houston Christian HS as the starting LT with zero sacks, 7 hurries, 2 hits all season and averaged 5 pancakes per game

I'm a good candidate for your team because I'm a leader on and off the field, study the game, always listening for feedback to play better and am focused to win my match-up every time.  I will give you everything I have every play.   I work to learn my position and the positions around me so I can help our team win.  My mom and dad have also taught me how important getting your degree is in life so I put in the hours to be sure my grades remain strong.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
