Hunter Taylor '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Hunter Taylor. I am a Junior at Whitehouse High School. I am 6 foot 1 inch and 160 pounds. I run the 40 yard dash in 4.64. I have a 5-10-5 shuttle of 4.12. I have been a starter on varsity since the 4th game of my sophomore year. My sophomore year I was awarded Second Team All-District. My Junior year I lead my team to a Bi-District Championship, was awarded First Team All-District, Second Team All-State, and All-East Texas honorable mention finishing with 3,857 yards and 46 touchdowns. I served as Captain of my team my Junior year. I will bring leadership, hard work and drive to any organization. I would like to stay close to home (i.e. Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi...) but at the end of the day I want to play football. I am looking for an institution with strong academics that can assist me in my quest for a top notch education. I hope to pursue a career in engineering. Therefore, a school with a strong engineering progam would be my first choice. I am open-minded about location and size. I plan to visit as many college campuses as I can to better equip me to make an informed college decision. I would like to play football at the highest level possible.
