My mother and father both played college athletics. My mother played basketball at Arizona State University and my father played baseball at Western Oregon University. My older sister played basketball at Highline Community College. It is my goal to play quarterback at the collegiate level. I have been a 3 sport athlete since I was 5 years old. I fell in love with football when I was in 6th grade and was the quarterback of my team. I realized then that I wanted to be a quarterback. Marcus Mariota has been my biggest influence in how I play the game. I believe in being humble and letting my actions speak. I work extremely hard in the classroom and on the field.
My mother is extremely influential in my life. She is a principal of an elementary school and puts in longs days. Her work ethic is amazing. I don't know anyone who works as hard as she does. My mom is constantly encouraging me to be the best me everyday.
My father is a sales rep for a company out of Dallas. He was a high school baseball coach in Arizona, before we moved to Utah. He was recently diagnosed with cancer and this has been a real tough time for our family. He has been in treatment for five months and things are seem to be going well. My coaches and teammates have really helped me to stay focused on our season and my dad's toughness has shown me mental toughness is crucial in my development as a quarterback and a person.
