Anthony Smith '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been accepted to:

Boise State, West Virginia, Washington and Jefferson, Gardner-Webb, Bloomsburg, Seton Hill, Old Dominion, Pace, Marshall, University of Idaho, Emory and Henry, Catawba, Limestone. 

I have earned over $250,000 in academic scholarships. 

I am excited about continuing my education and football career at the college level. I am a Senior graduating May 2024 class and I am a leader on the Varsity team at Brooke Point High School in Stafford, Virginia.

In school, I keep over a 3.0 GPA and scored 900 on my last SATs. While in college, I want to play football and get a Bachelor's Degree in History, Leadership or Sports Management. Summer 2022, I attended the Vision program at the University of Notre Dame and Holy Cross to get a feel of college life. 

On the field, I earned the Coaches Award for playing 7 different positions in one season. I always study other positions so I can fill in when my team needs me to, and to help my teammates. My Senior season will be my first as a DB and believe that will be my primary position at the college level. I will also be helping my team on offense this year. My speed helped me earn the most sacks on the team in my Junior Season as DE and DT, including strip fumble recoveries, sacks for losses, and a game-saving stop early in the season. I strive to be an elite football athlete. When I commit to a college, I am committed for at least 4 years.

Summer 2023, I attended as many football camps as I can at all levels. My goal was to find the right fit for my skills and get feedback from college coaches to help me get better, and help my high school and future college team. I have a wingspan of 5’11.5”, and I am continuing to develop. I continue to improve my close-in speed, my agility and conditioning.
