Nathaniel Plaisted '19 Recruiting Profile

     After swinging up to varsity at the beginning of my freshman year, I discovered that my passion was basketball. Through the game I have learned about teamwork,  devotion, perseverance in the face of injuries and setbacks, and the value of being teachable. I also understand and demonstrate these traits in my family and at my charter high school where I am a student leader and senator.  I have overcome my freshman GPA and am currently striving to be the best I can be in my high school, taking AP and Honors courses with a college goal of earning a degree in Economics with a minor in Spanish. 

     I am an effective leader and have been team captain for three years.  Having received 1^st Team Honorable Mention Awards Sophomore and Junior years, and being chosen to play in the Tri-Peaks All-Star game, I believe that I have the talent and hustle to compete at the collegiate level. I am looking for a school that is a good fit for me academically and a basketball program on which I can make an immediate impact as a dedicated defender and a strong point guard with excellent court vision.
