DJ Carton '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is DJ Carton. I will graduate in 2019 from Bettendorf High School In Iowa.  As a sophomore, I will be the starting point guard on varsity for the 2016-17 season.  I recently changed to this position and have been successful after a lot of hard work and extra training.  I am not afraid of hard work, but more importantly I am a good teammate, respectful to others, and a coachable athlete that is always eager to learn new things.  I understand the importance of a good education and make my studies a priority while still finding time to improve my game and hone my skills.   My childhood dream is to one day play collegiate basketball in a highly competitive program and I am willing to do what it takes to play the game I love.
