I am a very serious basketball player and overall athlete. I put hours and hours of work into being the best basketball player I can be. Because of my hard work, I was team captain in the 8th and 9th grade as well as a starter on JV in 10th grade. All of my hard work and dedication showed my coaches that I didn’t just practice when we had practice, I practiced as much as possible whenever I could. Being a leader is a big passion for me, I love helping other people. For example I've done lots of charity work and even helped teach basketball to other kids. I’m not that type of person that just puts minimum effort into being the best athlete I can be, I put as much effort as I possibly can, to be the best me I can be. I realize that there is a big opportunity to raise my grades and over the next couple of years I will work really hard to do so. As my freshman basketball coach said:
"Tyler was often the most athletic player in every game that we played this year. I always had opposing coaches and spectators come up to me after games lauding the “kid wearing number 32.” Tyler’s speed and explosiveness set him apart but his game is very well developed. He can attack with both hands, hit outside shots, and defend one through five. Tyler plays with confidence and wants nothing more than for his team to win. His love for the game and desire to compete day in and day out will be assets to his continued development as an athlete. He has a bright future ahead of him."
