Fall 2016 - Scout...Personal Statement
I hope to receive a college scholarship for basketball so I could make my mother and family proud. I also hope to study the medical field and become somebody in life. I'm a good candidate for your team because I am a hard worker. I give my all in practice so that it could translate to games. I will be the first person to enter the gym and the last person to leave. I would accept any role I am given and play it to the best of my ability. Basketball is truly my passion. I am different from other candidates because of my work ethic and my will to be better than I was yesterday. I can also confidently say I will be the best shooter on your team. My grades have always been the most important thing to me, not only because my mom would kill me if they weren't, but because I know I need good grades to continue playing basketball. I am a B+ student and am only improving academically. I am a good kid who cares about others and have a great sense of humor. - Looking to finally reach the AAU Nationals this year, still with the Under Armour partnership. I'm starting at SG once again this season.
- 2016 CST Elite (11th Grade / 17U)
- A new team I started playing for because the coach found me. I start at SG. Looking forward to a good season with CST Elite this year.
- 2015 Aim High Eagles ( 10th Grade / 16U)
- Our first year having a partnership with Under Armour. I started at SG again, and lead the team in scoring. Played in and won several tournaments around the United States, but missed attending the AAU Nationals.
- 2014 Aim High Eagles (9th Grade / 15U)
- First year playing with Aim High, before they had a partnership with Under Armour. Started at SG.
- 2013 House of Sports Guachos (8th Grade / 14U)
- I started at SG, while my twin brother started at PG. We both lead our team to several tournament wins. I was the leading scorer on the team.
