My goal is to attend a college that will allow me to have a great experience as a student athlete. My plan is to ultimately graduate with a minimum of a bachelor's degree. I have a passion for basketball and that passion drives me to be very competitive and also pushes me really hard to develop my skills as well as being a good team player and leader. I want to go far in basketball but I know i have to take it step by step and it will be a process but I am ready for the challenge 100%. From a character standpoint, I have had hardships both personally, academically and athletically. Despite these hardships, they have actually helped to teach me to never give up despite really bad times. I believe a successful team is better than individual achievements. I am improving my grades and am confident that I will be a successful student now and in the future. I believe that I am just beginning to realize the potential that I have and that my passion for basketball, as well as the lessons learned from it, will make me a much better player and person. My Coach and teammates have recognized me as a role model due to my basketball skill improvement from Junior to Senior year; as well as an attitude that does not quit. I know that I will work hard to be as good of a student athlete at the collegiate level that I can be and believe I will be a great asset to the team that I become part of because the best is yet to come.
