Personal Statement

Hello I am Noah Langford. I am a fun loving, hardworking, determined young man that enjoys the game of basketball. It is my desire to play the game I love in college. I am currently a 3.5 student at Central Catholic High School in Toledo, OH where I am learning some very important lessons for life and building some great relationships. I am looking to attend a school that wants their athletes to be successful academically as well as athletically. I want to one day go into graphic design or video game design. I know that any goal I wish to accomplish is going to take hard work and a can-do attitude. I believe that being a great teammate is a part of being successful in life as well as on the court. When I am not in the game I look to encourage my teammates and help them in whatever way I can. I also do this when I am on the court by talking on defense, encouraging my teammates and helping affect the game in whatever way I can. My character stands out amongst other athletes because I believe in always making the right decision even if it means that I will not be the popular person. I have passed up many times of hanging out and socializing with friends to make sure that my schoolwork is done. I also work hard outside of the school in academic programs to help prepare me for college and I give back to the community by doing service activities. Again, I take my studies very seriously and want to succeed their as well as in athletics. I understand that hat is the key to my future because sports are not always promised but no one can take your education away from you.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
