My name is Taizel Cooper, my aspirations are to attend college on an athletic scholarship and be the best student athlete I can be. Upon graduating from college, I plan on entering the U.S. Air Force as an officer in the special investigations career field. I would consider myself to be a good candidate for any program because although I struggled early in my academics during my high school career, I now understand what it takes to be successful both on an off the court, in and out of the classroom. I am working hard to make up for wasted time and regain lost ground. In my opinion what makes me different from other recruits is my humility and my positive attitude and outlook on life. I believe that mistakes are a positive sign of learning versus a negative sign of failing. If given the opportunity to play at the collegiate level, I will ensure that my actions and character remains in good standing with the Universities policies, standards, and procedures.
