Andrew Powell '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Andrew Powell and I’ve had a basketball in my hand ever since I was a little kid. Every day I work on my game in an effort to continue to get better. I know that if I work hard at basketball and achieve good grades in the classroom I can get a good education as well as play the game that I love almost more than everything. My goal has been to play at the highest level possible and the next level is collegiate basketball.

As a player I feel that my skills and height allow for me to be a very versatile player, where I can play multiple positions. I help my team by playing strong defense and getting stops as well as scoring on all areas of the court. I’m a very coachable player and will do whatever it takes to help our team win. I like to encourage my teammates on the court and be a leader when I’m out there. I will always strive to be the best that I can be and work as hard as I possibly can.
