Kyle Slater '18 Recruiting Profile

I was a part of great basketball program at Bush High School (Fort Bend County, Richmond, TX) and decided to work on my ball handling and shooting since I would need to play a combo guard/forward at the next level.  I worked on my fundamental game at Temple College.  My time here has given me a better perspective of the game itself at the next level.  I feel I have grown tremendously as a student- athlete.  My high school coach, stressed defense wins games and each year I've worked harder at becoming a better defender.  My two years at this  junior college has given me the opportunity to become a stronger and more versatile player, which enables me to play multiple positions.  This definitely has prepared me to play at the university level.
