Albert Turman ‘24...Personal Statement
My name is Albert Turman Jr. I am a hard working student athlete. I am a good student, respectful, attentive in class and on the course. I go to the course every day working on the drive in range, putting green to get better every day.
I first started golf in 8th grade and enjoyed and grew my passion for the game of golf. I was shooting mid 50’s. As a freshman my goal was to play in the state open and win a state championship. This has driven me to work every day to complete this goal. In 3 seasons my handicap has gone from a 24.3 to a 3.2.
I am continuing to work hard and I am excited to be able to play on a collegiate golf team.
