Hi, my name is Eugenio Serna. I am a 16 years old I am 6 foot 3 inches tall and weigh 237 pounds my position is goalkeeper. I am currently a Jr. in high school with a cumulative weighted GPA of 3.33. I play for Fillmore High School "boys" varsity soccer and Sporting Football Club USA "boys" 2005 gold team. In terms of my career so far my freshman year(2019-2020) of high school I played on the freshman team wining defensive player of the year. My sophomore year(2020-2021) I was varsity starter and won a league championship as well as being selected for the First Team All League. In My sophomore year I played a total of 13 games ( counting two CIF division 4 playoff games) keeping 7 clean sheets and allowing 12 goals overall and saving two pk's in the CIF Division 4 round of 16. I would say my strongest point is my mentality I started my freshman year of high school weighing in at 280 pounds heavily overweight. But fortunately with the guidance and hard work of my self and my coaches I have now lost around 45 pounds and grew significantly in the goal with still much more yet too work on. I hope to be able to get a full scholarship as I do not come from a wealthy family who can give such help with my studies. I hope to study something in the sports medicine field whether that be physical therapist or nutritionist anything involved in the sports world. I look forward to giving my full effort in and if any college would be willing to have any interest in me. Thank you.
