I just finished up my senior season at Hall High School, in West Hartford, CT. For my senior season, I led the Central Connecticut Conference (32 teams) in scoring with 23 goals and 10 assists in 18 games. My team finished 2nd in the CCC West with a 12-3-1 record. and was ranked as high as #5 in the state in the Hartford Courant coaches poll. I was voted Hartford Courant Player of the Year, CCC player of the year, All-Conference, All-State, All-New England (region), and All-American by the NSCAA for the 2014 Fall Soccer Season.
I was also voted All-league and All-academic league in both my sophomore and junior years in one of the most competitive conferences in the state, the CCC West. In addition, I have been a starter on the top premier club in Connecticut, FSA United for the past 7 years. Over the summer, I attended a one day combine sponsored by Top Drawer Soccer and I was voted "Top XI" in New England. https://www.topdrawersoccer.com/club-soccer-articles/tds-combines:-new-england-best-xi_aid33221
I would describe myself as an "attacking possession player". I don't give away the ball, but also know how to time my runs. I am a great team player, work hard and lead by example and can play every field position well. I played mostly outside back when I was younger. More recently, I have moved to more of an attacking midfield for my both my club team, FSA, and my high school team. In high school, I started every game at left back as a sophomore and center back as a junior. I believe my strengths are: field vision, first touch, making runs off the ball and accurate passing.
I have always dreamed of playing soccer in college. I have played competitive soccer since I was 7 years old. I love the game. I am a huge Newcastle United fan and have followed them for years.
I am looking for a school that combines a great academic environment with a great soccer program. I am interested in many subjects and am very strong in Latin, Math, English and History. I would like to stay involved with sports in some way when I graduate from college. I am currently looking at several DI, DII, and DIII schools in the Northeast, but have not made a decision yet.
