Dedication and hard work are more than just words, they are a way of living. I don't hope for success, I work towards it. I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old (played on club teams for 12 yrs). Since then, my dream is to play collegiate soccer and God-willing professional soccer, which has grown throughout the years and I understand the effort, time, determination, and pure willpower that is needed to succeed in this beautiful game. I am eager to play collegiate soccer for the opportunity to be around individuals that love the game with a burning passion and to earn an education to prepare me for life. Through soccer I have learned how to be responsible with time management, respecting authority figures, and how to apply myself in many disciplines Such as how to handle social media, to understand what a blessing every opportunity is, and taking care of my body so that I won't make dumb decisions to jeopardize my soccer or collegiate career. Some attributes that I could bring to the team include: My personality makes me very coachable and I desire for criticism to make me a stronger student-athlete. Good off the ball movement, I usually get 14.12 or 15 on the beep test, very vocal, great at defending, a good eye for shooting, a strong upper body, able to quickly stop counter-attacks, good ball mastery on both feet, can speed up the play when needed, can slow down the play when needed, great at freekicks anywhere on the field, good at 1v1s, I am used to high-intensity games, a visionary with the ball, I love to set my teammates up for great scoring opportunities, very coachable, even though I'm 6'1 and 193'lbs I'm agile off and on the ball, quick decision-making, very creative, I can adapt to most in-game situations. This year will be my fourth year playing varsity soccer and my second year being captain. Although left-back is where I spent most of my time, I have played other positions in an effort to understand the whole field in tactical analysis to increase my versatility and skill. For me, there is no off-season. I put in the work to get the results. I look forward to this challenge of play collegiate soccer and I will be happy in forming a family with my new soccer collegiate team.
