Keaton Calhoon '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Keaton Calhoon and I am a Freshman at Oxford High School in Oxford, MS.  I am very interested in playing soccer at the professional level and believe that my talents would be an asset to your team.  I currently play center forward as a member of the The Lobos Rush U15 Elite Club Team out of Memphis, TN.  I also play for the Oxford High Chargers, a AAAAA MHAA School. For the Fall season with the Lobos, I scored 20 goals with 11 assists. We played in the Dallas Labor Day Invitational, in which I scored 3 goals with 2 assists. We also finished third in the Division 1 Tennessee State Championships. So far with Oxford, I have scored 8 goals and made 7 assist in just 5 Junior Varsity games. I also have 3 Varsity goals with 2 assists. I also am an accomplished track athlete holding the Oxford Middle School Record for the 400 meter dash with a time of just 55.6 seconds. I am beginning my High School Track season this March. 

My dream for as long as I can remember was to play professional soccer, and I know if I can get into a school with a prestigious program I can fulfill my dream with a smile on my face. Words cannot describe my love for the game and desire to continue to improve. I love to have a ball at my feet and have a certain flare while in possession. My idol is Cristiano Ronaldo, I try my best to be just like him by working out regularly, practicing harder than anyone else, putting in extra hours while no one else is around, and eating right. I want to follow his footsteps to become one of the greatest players of all time. He started his road to glory by joining the Sporting CP Academy in Portugal, and I wish to do the same with an academy to improve my every aspect of the game. I guarantee my talents will not disappoint.
