Matthew Slepski '18 Recruiting Profile

My goals and aspirations for soccer is to make it as far as possible in the sport I love...  Not only would i want to persevere and better myself in soccer, I would also like to connect with team mates,  enhance my education, and experience new and exciting competition. What makes me a good candidate would be respecting the sport and the players participating in it, making smart plays on and around the ball, and having a great education. What makes me different from the other recruits would be my passion for the sport,  making new friends/team mates, never talking back, knowing how to play my position, and making smart and simple plays on the ball. My accumulative G.P.A is a 3.6. I have started in all my varsity games since sophomore year. I have 12 years playing experience with the past 4 years playing year round (club). The club team I play for now is Trumbull County Soccer Club in Hubbard Ohio. I have played in over 20 tournaments for my high school team and club team. As of now, I am a Junior in high school meaning this year will be my last year for high school soccer.
