I am really looking forward to playing soccer at a higher level as I attend college and work to get my college degree.
For me, the game of soccer has taught me how to be a leader. I am currently captain of my team and I take this very seriously. I really like to help and encourage others and lift teammates up when they need it. And I function really well under pressure and stay composed but still bring great energy to my team.
A highlight in soccer for me and great learning experience was when my FCD team won the NTX State cup and went to Regionals. We didn't make the finals, but I really enjoyed the whole experience. Competing in more high-level games and tournaments is something I look forward to being able to accomplish at the college level.
My dad has influenced my love of the game. He was born in the UK, and we have watched many, many EPL games together. This set the bar for playing level for me to try to reach.
In high school, I have been able to juggle sports, get good grades, and volunteer. I got the President's Volunteer Service Award in 2019 and was a Mavericks Ballkid for the past couple of years. I'm on track to receive a cord when I graduate for 100+ hours of community service. I also play basketball for my high school and was named to the Frisco All Defensive Team last year (junior year) and was a Varsity starter.
Appreciate the chance to show you what I can do to help your team.
