Dylan Carey '17 Recruiting Profile

     I am very excited to live on campus and swim in college!   My daily schedule is not the norm for the average high school student.  For the past 4 years, I have had a 3-hour commute to and from school.  I get home from school at 4:15 and get picked up at 5pm for club swim practice.  My club team practice is about an hour away and we swim from 6-8pm.  I travel an hour home so at 9pm I eat, do homework, study, sleep, and get up at 6:00am to start again.  Although this has been difficult, I know this tough schedule has taught me discipline and time management skills that other kids, my age, do not have.  I am confident having classes and practice in walking distance will enable me to come to my full potential with school and swimming.  I am truly looking for the right swim team to be a part of this journey with me.
