I have always had a love for swimming. I learned how to swim when I was three, and I started swimming summer league at five. One thing I pride myself on is my work ethic. I constantly push myself everyday at swim practice to better myself and my teammates. I also believe it is important to do well in school and focus on education. My dad has always told me “you’re there to get an education.” This has stuck with me and it holds true as this is very important to me. In terms of my swimming, I consider myself a very diverse swimmer. I am able to do events like the 500 free, 100 breastroke, 200 IM, and the 400 IM. I also believe in my ability to improve upon my other events, and I don’t necessarily have a weak stroke. I have the ability to not let a bad race affect me, and I have been able to bounce back many times. I am resilient, persistent, and I will do whatever is needed of me.
