On the court, in the classroom, and everywhere in between, my friends and coaches often describe me as a competitor. I have the tenacity, focus, work ethic and endurance that it takes to succeed as a high-level tennis player. I fell in a deep love for the game during lockdown, and ever since I have put my all into my training. I currently am a student at the Manchester Athletic Club Tennis Academy in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts. I have also represented my school at the #1 singles and doubles positions since freshman year, where I gained valuable match experience, particularly in doubles. This doubles experience has transformed my singles style, as I frequently use the serve-and-volley, which is rarely seen and highly effective at the high school level.
My work ethic also shines in the classroom, where I have earned a 3.2 unweighted GPA and I am one of six members of our class’s student government. I am also the Vice President of the New Hampshire Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Alumni Board. I am beyond excited to connect with a school that will support to further my academic and athletic goals and become my new home.
